Avatar: The Way of Water’s new trailer has been released with visually stunning underwater battle scenes and a glimpse of Pandora.
The movie is the second instalment of James Cameron’s Avatar franchise the first one came out in 2009 and with collections worth USD 2.84 billion it went on to become the highest-grossing film of all time at the global box office. The timeline is set after a decade after the events of the first film. The film tells the story of the Sully family (Jake, Neytiri, and their children).
The two-minute-28-second-long trailer takes us back to Pandora where we experience a brilliant underwater world. We see a pregnant Neytiri along with Navi Jake Sully who is now in a fatherly role. But trouble starts to follow them and we know how long they go to keep their family and people safe and the tragedies they endure.
This movie is produced by Cameron and Jon Landau Starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Kate Winslet, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Lang. The film arrives in theatres on December 16, 2022.
‘Avatar 3’, ‘Avatar 4’ and ‘Avatar 5’ are under production. The third part of the franchise will be released in December 2024, and parts 4 and 5 will hit the theatres in 2026 and 2028.
A new poster featuring lead characters was also revealed where The Sully family appears together.

The first teaser trailer of this movie was released on May 9. It was showing shots of Pandora’s bright blue water.
