New Lord of the Rings MMO Announced by Amazon

Amazon is making another attempt to build a Lord of The Rings MMO game after calling it quits back in 2021.

The team behind Amazon's other MMO, New World, will develop the upcoming game, which will feature stories from The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Amazon also has the very expensive Lord of the Rings series The Rings of Power on Prime Video.

Amazon is also developing the game in partnership with Embracer Group.

EA just launched the mobile title Heroes of Middle-earth, while the action-adventure game Gollum is due out this year.
